The Hope-Makers

Erica Bowen, PhD

Hope is defined as the belief that the future can be better than the past, coupled with the knowledge that we as individuals have a role to play in making it so. We have all had difficult times, but have you noticed how some people seem to be able to navigate them better than others? The likelihood is that this is because they have been able to create hope for themselves. Research shows that harnessing hope is the most important factor in success in all areas of life. The focus of this podcast is on exploring hope within the stories of individuals who have overcome adversity and found their purpose as a result. An interview-based podcast, I shine a light on how ordinary people have overcome adversity and are now doing extraordinary work by harnessing hope in order to make the world a better place.
